On Sunday, the State Council’s Administrative Court set February 7th as the verdict date of former Zamalek Sporting Club president Mortada Mansour’s appeal against his suspension, which was filed by Egypt’s Youth and Sports Minister. This is the second case of that Mortada Mansour is part of appealing related to his suspension from the club. A ministry statement said that the decision was based on the findings of a financial and administrative inspection committee, formed by the ministry in September. However, it confirmed the presence of financial and other irregularities, which prompted the ministry to refer the report to Egypt’s Public Prosecution. Mansour and his colleagues appealed both decisions in two separate cases at the Administrative Court.
