An unknown spectator flashed a laser pen at Denmark goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel's face during his side's semi-final clash against England in Euro 2020. The incident happened in the extra time, moments before England captain Harry Kane was to take a penalty. Although Schmeichel saved the penalty before Kane scored on the rebound to take his side into the lead, the goalkeeper wasn't aware of the distraction attempt. However, the penalty itself, which was awarded to England was a contentious decision, one which Denmark manager Kasper Hjulmand was certainly not happy with. We're disappointed it was decided that way... it was a penalty that shouldn't have been a penalty, and that annoys me right now.
