FILE - Sisi meets with Siemens CEO Joe Kaeser where they reviewed the final agreement on the establishment of the electric train system.- PresidencyCAIRO – 15 January 2021: German Siemens’s CEO Joe Kaeser said the new high-speed electric train project that the company will implement in Egypt will help provide 15,000 job opportunities in the field of construction in its first phase. Kaeser hailed Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for being strong, cooperative and for being a man of his word. The negotiations on the electric train system has been open and very respectful, he said. The Ministry of Transport represented by the National Tunnels Authority signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Siemens to implement an integrated system for the express electric train in Egypt. Sisi also met with Kaeser where they reviewed the final agreement on the establishment of the electric train system.
