more-inMembers of Amrutadhara Goshala in Kairangala in Bantwal taluk on Sunday started a relay hunger strike demanding the arrest of persons allegedly involved in theft of cattle from their cow shelter on March 29. According to a complaint by Rajaram Bhat from the goshala, three persons broke the lock of the cow shelter on March 29. When they tried to take away two cows, the goshala caretakers raised the alarm and rescued one cow. Talking to reporters, Mr. Bhat said the accused persons had threatened him and other members of the goshala. Suresh said the police were looking to see if Imran was involved in the theft of cattle from Amrutadhara Goshala also.
