Head of Presidential Council, Mohamed Menfi has welcomed the signing of the framework of principles governing unified public spending, stressing that the key lies in the full and precise implementation of what was agreed upon. In a post on X, Menfi said that the agreement reflects the legitimacy of the relevant institutions, enhances transparency, and adopts a realistic approach to containing the existing governmental division, while broadening participation and avoiding exclusion or bilateral arrangements. He added that the actual implementation of the agreement must ensure the regular collection of oil revenues through official channels in accordance with the law, warning against the distortions resulting from contracts for developing marginal oil fields.
