Number of job seekers reached 341,000 by end of 2021By Sami Zaptia. Tripoli, 24 January 2022:The Libyan Ministry of Labour and Rehabilitation revealed in its latest statistics on Saturday that the number of job seekers in the country reached 340,954 people. A breakdown of the total number reveals that the total number of males looking for work reached 151,281, an average of 44 percent of the total number, while the number of females was 189,673, or 56 percent. The data indicated that the percentage of qualified job seekers out of the total amounted to 58 percent, while the percentage of unqualified was 42 percent. The qualifications of job seekers ranged between holders of high school certificates to university degrees.
