The officials were not authorised to discuss publicly the ongoing military operation and spoke on condition of anonymity. The action was described as a “consented boarding”, with the tanker stopping voluntarily and allowing US forces to board it, one official said. Mr Trump earlier this month announced that coastguard had seized an oil tanker in the Caribbean Sea and vowed that the US would carry out a blockade of Venezuela. It all comes as Mr Trump has ratcheted up his rhetoric toward Mr Maduro and warned that the long-time Venezuelan leader’s days in power are numbered. “We’re not going to be letting anybody going through who shouldn’t be going through,” Mr Trump told reporters.

The product has been recalled by Young’s Seafood because it contains mustard which is not mentioned on the label. This means the fish fillets are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to mustard, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) has said. “Sometimes foods have to be withdrawn or recalled if there is a risk to consumers because the allergy labelling is missing or incorrect or if there is any other food allergy risk. “When there is a food allergy risk, the FSA will issue an Allergy Alert.”

The Israeli military has killed six Palestinians, including a baby, who were in a school that sheltered displaced people in Gaza City on Friday, hospital officials said. Israeli troops fired over the ceasefire line that they have withdrawn to, killing the Palestinians and wounding a number more, the Palestinian civil defence said in a statement. Dozens gathered at Gaza City hospital to mourn those killed, with five body bags placed outside the hospital and a man cradling the body of an infant wrapped in a white shroud. The attack brings the total number of Palestinians killed by Israel to 401 since the October ceasefire took effect.

12 hours agoNews SummaryThe Delaware Supreme Court has reinstated Elon Musk’s controversial $56 billion pay package from Tesla, which was initially approved in 2018. The restored package could now be worth as much as $139 billion. Tesla shareholders had previously approved the package, and despite the rulings, ensured Musk would receive the $56 billion. The court’s decision echoed Tesla board members’ arguments that rescinding the package would be inequitable. Musk’s dissatisfaction with Delaware’s court rulings has led him to relocate Tesla’s incorporation to Texas and publicly criticize the state’s judicial system.

It was just a bit of quality or trying to hurt Arsenal a bit more. Arsenal have given up very few chances and we just didn't get enough opportunities to get enough chances tonight. I don't think we were under a great deal of pressure until the penalty kick. I think after the penalty kick we were rocked a little bit. I thought we stuck at it, never gave in, we were always in the game right to the end.
