LOADING ERROR LOADING“Daily Show” host Jon Stewart said President Donald Trump’s absence from the spotlight over Labor Day weekend led to immediate questions about his health ― and even online rumors that he was dead. “Trump is alive,” Stewart said. Trump has also been using makeup to mask bruising on his hand, which the White House said is due to frequent handshaking combined with aspirin use. But Stewart said the president’s hands and ankles might not be the surest sign that something’s up with the president’s health, and it’s not even Trump’s sudden fixation with getting into heaven. It’s spider season – the time of year in which male spiders come out from the deepest, darkest corners of your home to find a mate. Advertisement AdvertisementAdvertisement AdvertisementSo, if you want to ensure new ones don’t enter your abode, you might want to consider making changes to your external walls. Why should I move my plant pots to repel spiders? They can also hide in these, lingering just below your window sash if you keep your plants close to your external walls, Zoflora writes. LOADING ERROR LOADINGWASHINGTON (AP) — The Trump administration on Monday asked the Supreme Court for an emergency order to keep billions of dollars in foreign aid frozen. Trump told House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., in a letter on Aug. 28 that he would not spend $4.9 billion in congressionally approved foreign aid, effectively cutting the budget without going through the legislative branch. Ali said Congress would have to approve the rescission proposal for the Trump administration to withhold the money. The Trump administration has made deep reductions to foreign aid one of its hallmark policies, despite the relatively meager savings relative to the deficit and possible damage to America’s reputation abroad as foreign populations lose access to food supplies and development programs. After Trump issued his rescission notice, the plaintiffs returned to Ali’s court and the judge issued the order that’s now being challenged.

LOADING ERROR LOADINGThe Federal Trade Commission has abandoned the historic prohibition on noncompete agreements it proposed just a year and a half ago, the result of President Donald Trump’s change in leadership at the antitrust regulator. The agency said Friday that it was voluntarily dropping its appeals in court cases where employers had challenged the legality of the noncompete ban finalized under former President Joe Biden. The commission said Friday it had voted 3-1 in favor of abandoning the noncompete rule, with Slaughter, now the lone Democrat, dissenting. Trump's shakeup at the FTC paved the way for the noncompete rule to be killed. AdvertisementPolling by Ipsos last year showed that a majority of Americans backed a ban on noncompete agreements, though less than a third said they were familiar with the FTC’s rule.

The mention of school was definitely not the most arousing subject, and certainly wasn’t filled with joyous memories. AdvertisementInternalised homophobia is a phenomenon that all queer people experience, even if they say they’re adamant that they don’t. It can look like avoidance of queer community, or placing judgement on ‘flamboyance’ or people who express themselves without shame.
