Is India’s economy faring better than expected?
Surpassing even the most optimistic projections, the Indian economy grew at a robust 8.2 per cent in the just concluded financial year (2023-24), as per the provisional estimates released by the National Statistical Office. After growing at 0.4 per cent in the third quarter, the sector grew at a mere 0.6 per cent in the fourth quarter, indicating the continuing impact of last year’s unfavourable monsoon. Manufacturing, however, fared better, even though it has fallen from the highs observed in the second and third quarters. Value added by the entire economy has fallen from 8.3 per cent in the first quarter to 6.3 per cent in the fourth quarter. Net taxes, in fact, grew at 31.2 per cent in the third quarter and 22.2 per cent in the fourth quarter.

देवशन में पहाड़ी पर दिखे 3 लेपर्ड, VIDEO:बानसूर के देवशन गांव की पहाड़ी में शनिवार को फिर ग्रामीणों को एक साथ तीन लेपर्ड दिखाई दिए। इस दौरान मौके पर मौजूद गांव वालों ने इस नजारे को मोबाइल में कैद कर लिया। वहीं एक साथ तीन लेपर्ड दिखने से गांव के लोगों में भय का माहौल है। लेकिन फिर भी विभाग इ. देवशन गांव की पहाड़ी पर 3 लेपर्ड दिखाई दिए।10 दिन से पहाड़ी पर दिख रहा लेपर्ड का मूवमेंटग्रामीण राजेन्द्र अधाना ने बताया कि देवशन गांव के बीचों बीच पहाड़ी पर लगातार लेपर्ड की मूवमेंट है। आज भी एक साथ तीन लेपर्ड देखे गए। लेपर्ड सुबह करीब 5 बजे से 7 बजे तक बाहर घूमते हैं और फिर गुफा के अंदर चले जाते है। इसके बाद शाम को 6 बजे के क़रीब बाहर निकलते है और रात भर घूमते रहते हैं। जिसके चलते ग्रामीणों में दहशत का माहौल बना हुआ है।ग्रामीणों में दहशत का माहौल बना हुआ है।ग्रामीणों ने बताया कि पिछले 10 दिनों से यहां लगातार लेपर्ड घूम रहें हैं लेकिन विभाग कोई कार्रवाई नहीं कर रहा है। जबकि विभाग के अधिकारियों और एसडीएम को सूचना दी गई है। उन्होंने बताया कि आज सुबह लेपर्ड पहाड़ी से नीचे गांव में आने पर ग्रामीणों ने लाठी डंडों से भगाया गया। लेपर्ड भोजन पानी की तलाश में वन क्षेत्र से आबादी क्षेत्र में आ जाते है और यह शिकार की तलाश में रहते है।वन विभाग के फोरेस्टर जयकिशन ने बताया कि ग्रामीणों ने सूचना दी है कि गांव की पहाड़ी पर तीन लेपर्ड घूम रहें है। उच्च अधिकारियों को सूचना दे दी गई है और शाम को जाल लगाकर लेपर्ड को रेस्क्यू किया जाएगा।

Mahindra Tractors ने मई 2024 में बेचे 37,109 ट्रैक्टर्स, घरेलू बिक्री में दर्ज की 6% वृद्धि
Mahindra Tractors Sales Report May 2024: भारत की शीर्ष ट्रैक्टर निर्माता कंपनी महिंद्रा ट्रैक्टर्स (Mahindra Tractors) ने अपनी मई 2024 में हुई ट्रैक्टर्स की बिक्री के आंकड़े सार्वजनिक कर दिए है. महिंद्रा ट्रैक्टर्स द्वारा जारी किए आंकड़ों के अनुसार, कंपनी ने मई 2024 की घरेलू बिक्री में 6 प्रतिशत और निर्यात बिक्री में 85 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि हासिल की है. घरेलू बिक्री में 6% वृद्धिकंपनी द्वारा जारी की गई सेल्स रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार, महिंद्रा ट्रैक्टर्स ने मई 2024 की घरेलू बिक्री में 6% की वृद्धि हासिल की है. कुल बिक्री में 9% की वृद्धिमहिंद्रा ट्रैक्टर्स ने मई माह में कुल यानी घरेलू + निर्यात ट्रैक्टरों बिक्री में 9 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि दर्ज की है. कंपनी ने मई 2024 में 37,109 ट्रैक्टरों को बेचा है, जबकि पिछले साल इसी महीने में 34,126 यूनिट्स की बिक्री की गई थी.

Rewa News: रेमकी कंपनी का बड़ा फर्जीवाड़ा आया सामने; क्रास चेकिंग में कचरा वाहनों के वजन में निकला 117 टन का अंतर, आयुक्त ने जारी किया नोटिस
रीवा: नगर निगम में कचरा कलेक्शन का काम कर रही रीवा एमएस डब्ल्यू मैनेजमेंट सॉल्यूशन लिमिटेड कंपनी (रेमकी) का बड़ा घोटाला सामने आया है। निगम अधिकारियों की सह पर ही कंपनी द्वारा बड़ा बंदरबांट सरकारी राशि में किया जा रहा था। क्षमता से अधिक वजन की नाप कराकर राशि का गबन किया जा रहा था। आयुक्त संस्कृति जैन के निर्देश पर जब जांच की गई तो कंपनी की पोल खुलकर सामने आ गई।अधिकारियों की सह में पिछले कई वर्षों से चल रहा खेल, अब पकड़ा गया फर्जीवाड़ादरअसल रेमकी द्वारा जो कचरा शहर से उठाव कर पहाड़िया प्लांट तक ले जाया जाता है, उसमें बड़ा अंतर नगर निगम को मिला है। बताया गया कि कार्यपालन यंत्री एचके त्रिपाठी को स्वच्छ भारत मिशन के नोडल की जिम्मेदारी सौंपी गई है। उनके द्वारा रेमकी कंपनी द्वारा किए जा रहे कचरा उठाव को लेकर गड़बड़ी समक्ष में आई तो उनके द्वारा खुद स्वयं वाहनों की नाप खुद कंपनी के प्रतिनिधियों के सामने कराई गई। जिसमें बड़ा अंतर देखने को मिला। जिसकी जानकारी आयुक्त संस्कृति जैन को दी गई तो आयुक्त ने कंपनी केप्रबंधन को नोटिस जारी किया है।117 टन से अधिक का अंतर बता दें जारी नोटिस में आयुक्त संस्कृति जैन ने कहा है कि एकीकृत ठोस अपशिष्ट प्रबंधन योजना क्लस्टर रीवा के तहत नगर निगम रीवा क्षेत्र अंर्तगत डोर टू-डोर कचरे का कलेक्शन/परिवहन कर पहाड़िया स्थित कंपोष्ट, वेस्ट टू एनर्जी प्लांट तक ले जाने वाले वाहनों का वजन पहाड़िया स्थित वेज ब्रिज में कराने के उपरांत इंडिपेंडेंट इंजीनियर के द्वारा दी गई जानकारी के अनुसार मार्च 2024 के वेज ब्रिज की पर्चियों के वजन में अंतर पाया गया है। इतना ही नहीं वजन की पर्चियों में आईई के हस्ताक्षर भी नहीं है। जो उचित नहीं है और गबन की श्रेणी में आता है। बताया गया कि नगर निगम को कुल 250 टन की जानकारी दी गई थी व इसी के अनुसार देयक प्रस्तुत किया गया था लेकिन जब जांच की गई तो असल वजन 132 टन के लगभग निकला।जिससे 117 टन का अंतर मिला। जिसके बाद आयुक्त संस्कृति जैन ने कंपनी के प्रबंधन को पत्र लिख स्पष्टीकरण मांगा है।देयक में मिला अंतरवहीं आयुक्त संस्कृति जैन ने प्रबंधन को दिए गए पत्र में लिखा कि अधिकारियों द्वारा कचरा वाहनों का स्वयं वजन कराया गया तो उसमें भी बड़ा अंतर मिला है। आटो टिपर वाहन में प्रति ट्रिप औसतन 400 किग्रा कचरा आता है लेकिन 8 मई 2024 और 12 मई 2024 तक आईई के द्वारा वाहनों की गणना के आधार पर 161 ट्रिप प्रतिदिन के मान से टिपिंग देयक आंकलन करने पर पाया गया कि कंपनी द्वारा प्रस्तुत देयक में काफी ज्यादा अंतर है। यानि कंपनी ने जितना कचरा उठाया और उनके हिसाब से जो बिल दिया वह काफी ज्यादा है। इस संबंध में भी स्पष्टीकरण मांगा गया है।मनमानी पर नहीं लगा सके रोकबता दें कि फरवरी 2017 से नगर निगम में रेमकी कंपनी ने काम शुरु किया है। शुरुआत से ही कंपनी की लड़खड़ाई व्यवस्था से ठीक से काम नहीं हुआ, जिम्मेदार अधिकारी इस पर सुधार तो कर नहीं सके उल्टा कंपनी को उपकृत करते रहे। बीच में जिम्मेदारी जब कार्यपालन यंत्री एचके त्रिपाठी को मिली तो उनके द्वारा इन बिंदुओ पर जांच की गई। जांच में बड़ा फर्जीवाड़ा मिला। जिसके बाद आयुक्त संस्कृति जैन ने नोटिस जारी किया गया है। इस नोटिस के बाद से निगम कार्यालय व कंपनी के कर्मचारियों में हड़कंप है। बताया जा रहा है कि पहली दफा कंपनी के इस प्रकार के फर्जीवाड़े को पकड़ा गया और अब बड़ी कार्यवाही की तैयारी भी निगम प्रशासन कर रहा है।6 कंपनी के कचरा वाहनों की नाप व उनके द्वारा दिए गए देयक के वजन में बड़ा अंतर मिला है। आईई के हस्ताक्षर भी पर्चियों में नहीं मिले हैं। वजन कराने में यह मामला सामने आया है। आयुक्त द्वारा नोटिस जारी किया गया है।एचके त्रिपाठी, नोडल अधिकारी स्वच्छ भारत मिशन 2024

To make way for it, two astronauts' suitcases containing clothes and toiletries had to be pulled off, meaning they'll need to rely on backup supplies kept on the station.If all goes according to plan, the Starliner should dock with the ISS on Sunday and remain there eight days as the crew carry out tests, including simulating whether the ship can be used as a safe haven in the event there is a problem on the ISS.It would then undock, reenter the atmosphere and carry out a parachute and airbag-assisted landing in the western United States on June 10.

This would go against its core function: the pursuit of truth in a spirit of inquiry and the exchange of divergent views. In some other American universities, the police had been called in to quell student protests on the same issue; numerous students, even teachers, were arrested. Public universities in India often manifest one of the worst aspects of party rivalries, including manipulation in admissions and recruitment. Certain Indian universities have experienced in recent years clamp-downs by the State even on peaceful protests or meetings. That thin red line between protecting the space for free intellectual inquiry and repressing the freedom to protest is still elusive.
