Media associations express concern over arrest of The Hindu journalist Mahesh Langa
Langa was arrested on Monday by the Ahmedabad Crime Branch after an FIR was registered against several individuals and entities, including a firm named DA Enterprise allegedly owned by the journalist’s cousin Manoj Kumar. The crime branch has alleged that the company is among 200 other entities which tried to evade paying GST and charged them with fraud. Police have argued that Langa was unable to explain the presence of Rs 20 lakh recovered from his home. Defending the journalist, Langa’s lawyer Vedanta Rajguru said the money was kept in case of emergencies and wasn’t connected to DA Enterprise. We do hope that no journalist anywhere is targeted for their work, and we expect the investigation to be conducted fairly and quickly.”

नोएडा के सेक्टर-19 में एक युवक ने मानसिक तनाव के चलते आत्महत्या कर ली। व्यापार में घाटे के कारण वह तनाव में था। पुलिस ने शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेजा। वहीं, सेक्टर-49 में जिला बदर बदमाश और एक तस्कर...नोएडा। सेक्टर-19 में रहने वाले युवक ने बुधवार रात मानसिक तनाव के चलते घर पर पंखे से फंदा लगाकर आत्महत्या कर ली। पुलिस के अनुसार व्यापार में घाटे के चलते वह मानसिक तनाव में था। पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही है। थाना सेक्टर-20 के प्रभारी निरीक्षक ने बताया कि 42 वर्षीय नीलकमल विश्वास ने बुधवार रात अपने घर पर पंखे से फंदा लगाकर आत्महत्या किए जाने की सूचना मिली। वह धर्मकांटों की मरम्मत का कार्य करते थे। जांच के दौरान पुलिस को पता चला है कि व्यापार में कुछ दिनों से घाटा हो रहा था। इसको लेकर वह मानसिक तनाव में थे। पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया है।-----------जिला बदर बदमाश गिरफ्तारनोएडा। सेक्टर-49 पुलिस को बुधवार रात सूचना मिली कि जिला बदर किया गया आरोपी संदीप भाटी निवासी बरौला गांव में आकर रह रहा है। सूचना के आधार पर पुलिस ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुए उसे गिरफ्तार कर लिया। उसे न्यायालय में पेश किया गया। आरोपी छह माह के लिए जिला बदर था। इसके बावजूद वह जिले की सीमा में घूमता मिला।-----------तस्कर से मादक पदार्थ बरामद

Bareilly News योजना के तहत पीडब्ल्यूडी ने शाहजहांपुर में सबसे अधिक 15 और पीलीभीत में एक सड़क बनाने की तैयारी की है। सभी 16 सड़कों की कुल लंबाई 11.80 किमी. है। जिसे 1089 लाख से बनाई जाएगी। लोगों को अभी तक शहर जाने या गांव में ही अन्य स्थानों पर जाने में काफी दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ता था।जागरण संवाददाता, बरेली। आजादी के बाद से भी अब तक सड़क से वंचित मुहल्लों-मजरों के दिन जल्द ही बहुरने वाले हैं। पीडल्यूडी ने मंडल के 16 मजरों का चयन किया है, जहां सड़क निर्माण किया जाएगा। इसमें शाहजहांपुर में 15 और पीलीभीत के एक मुहल्ले को चिह्रिंत कर कार्ययोजना शासन को प्रेषित कर दिया गया। अधिकारियों के अनुसार अक्टूबर के अंतिम सप्ताह या नवंबर में स्वीकृति मिलते ही काम शुरू करा दिया जाएगा। संपर्क मार्ग से जोड़ने की कार्ययोजना तैयार करने के निर्देश शासन ने पं. दीनदयाल उपाध्याय योजना के तहत वर्ष 2011 की जनगणना के अनुसार 250 से अधिक आबादी के असंतृप्त मजरों-बसावट को संपर्क मार्ग से जोड़ने की कार्ययोजना तैयार करने के निर्देश दिए हैं। इसके लिए पीडब्ल्यूडी ने शाहजहांपुर में सबसे अधिक 15 और पीलीभीत में एक सड़क बनाने की तैयारी की है। सभी 16 सड़कों की कुल लंबाई 11.80 किमी. है। जिसे 1089 लाख से बनाई जाएगी।पीडब्ल्यूडी मुख्य अभियंता अजय कुमार के अनुसार शाहजहांपुर के कटरा विधानसभा के दोषपुर, गिरधपुर व जौरा पट्टी आंचल गांव के मजरे का चयन किया गया है। जलालाबाद विधानसभा के साहबगंज, हरेली नेकपुर, अल्लाहादाद पुर बैहारी, गुलड़िया, डोलापुर, हरिहरपुर, अस्तौली, हबीबुल्लापुर उर्फ अमरतापुर, विक्रमपुर, जहानाबाद खमरिया, फिरोजपुर के मजरे का लिया गया है। वहीं तिलहर विधानसभा के चांदापुर, मोहनपुर गांव के मजरों को लिया गया है। पीलीभीत के पूरनपुर विधानसभा के परनापुर गांव में सड़क बनाई जाएगी। बच्चों को स्कूल जाने में होती थी मुश्किल अधिकारियों ने बताया कि 250 की जनगणना के अनुसार 250 से अधिक आबादी के 16 असंतृप्त मजरों व बसावटों को चिह्रिंत किया गया है। यहां संपर्क मार्ग से जोड़ने की कार्ययोजना तैयार कर शासन को प्रेषित कर दी गई है, जल्दी ही निर्माण शुरु किया जाएगा। वहीं गांव में सड़क बनने के बाद अब गांव के लोगों को काफी राहत मिलेगी। बता दें कि इन क्षेत्रों में आज भी कई ऐसे गांव हैं जो संपर्क मार्ग से कटे हुए हैं।

चमोली जिले के थराली में सैलून का काम करने वाले मुस्लिम समुदाय के युवक ने नाबालिग हिन्दू लड़की से इंस्टाग्राम पर की दोस्ती। लड़की से दुष्कर्म किया और बाद में इसकी वीडियो वायरल कर दी। पुलिस ने आरोपी युवक को गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज दिया है।जागरण संवाददाता, देहरादून। Uttarakhand Crime: उत्तराखंड में सामने आए महिला अपराध के तीन ताजे मामले चौंकाने वाले हैं। पहले मामले में सैलून का काम करने वाले मुस्लिम युवक ने नाबालिग हिन्दू लड़की से दोस्ती कर उससे दुष्कर्म किया और वीडियो वायरल कर दी। दूसरे मामले में पिथौरागढ़ की एक नाबालिग बालिका को मुजफ्फरनगर का एक युवक भगा ले गया। तीसरे मामले में हल्द्वानी में यासीन ने हिंदू युवती पर मतांतरण का दबाव बनाया।घटना की सूचना मिलने के बाद से हिन्दू संगठनों समेत लोगों में आक्रोश है। गुरुवार को विश्व हिंदू परिषद और बजरंग दल ने ग्वालदम थराली देवाल तिराहे से विशाल जनजागरण रैली निकाली। थराली में स्थिति तनावपूर्ण बनी हुई है। पुलिस ,एलआइयू अलर्ट मोड पर हैं और भारी पुलिस बल तैनात है।पिथौरागढ़ की एक 14 वर्षीय नाबालिग बालिका को भगा ले जाने के मामले में पुलिस ने मुजफ्फरनगर के एक युवक को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। कुछ रोज पूर्व नगर निवासी एक व्यक्ति ने थाना कोतवाली में रिपोर्ट दर्ज कराई थी कि उसकी 14 वर्षीय नाबालिग पुत्री बिना बताये कहीं चली गई थी। खोजबीन के बाद भी उसका कोई पता नहीं लग रहा है।पुलिस अधीक्षक रेखा यादव ने मामले को गंभीरता से लेते हुए लापता बालिका का अविलंब पता लगवाने के निर्देश दिये। उपनिरीक्षक मीनाक्षी मनराल ने बालिका को सकुशल बरामद कर लिया। बालिका और माता-पिता से हुई पूछताछ में पता चला कि बालिका को उत्तर प्रदेश के मुज्जफरनगर का रहने वाला 21 वर्षीय मो.कैफ बहलाफुसलाकर भगा ले गया था।इस आधार पर पुलिस ने आरोपी के खिलाफ धारा 132 दो के तहत मुकदमा पंजीकृत कर उसे गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। कोतवाल ललित मोहन ने बताया कि मामले में कानूनी कार्रवाई जारी है।यासीन ने लामाचौड़ की युवती पर बनाया मतांतरण का दबावहल्द्वानी के मुखानी थाना क्षेत्र में यासीन नाम के युवक ने हिंदू युवती पर मतांतरण का दबाव बनाया। युवती ने उसकी बात नहीं मानी तो यासीन मोबाइल पर मैसेज भेजकर धमकी देने लगा। गुरुवार को हिंदूवादी संगठनों ने आरोपित की दुकान पर पहुंचकर हंगामा किया और उसे पकड़कर पुलिस के हवाले कर दिया है।यह भी पढ़ें- उत्तराखंड आने वाले सैलानियों के लिए विदेश की तर्ज पर घूमने का नया ठिकाना, तारों की छांव में उठाएंगे पहाड़ी खाने का लुत्फपुलिस आरोपित पर केस दर्ज करने की तैयारी कर रही है। लामाचौड़ में रहने वाली एक युवती ने हिंदूवादी संगठन से जुड़े लोगों को बताया कि उसकी शादी उत्तर प्रदेश के एक जिले में तय हो चुकी है। फतेहपुर लामाचौड़ में फर्नीचर की दुकान चलाने वाला यासीन खान उसे फोन व मैसेज कर जबरन शादी करने व मतांतरण का दबाव बना रहा है।शादी नहीं करने पर जान से मारने की धमकी दी जा रही है। आरोप है कि उसने यासीन का मोबाइल नंबर ब्लाक कर दिया था। आरोपित उसे दूसरे नंबर से फोन कर धमका रहा है। गुरुवार को हिंदूवादी संगठन के लोगों ने यासीन की दुकान में पहुंचकर हंगामा किया। साथ ही आरोपित को पकड़कर पुलिस को सौंप दिया।मुखानी थानाध्यक्ष विजय मेहता ने बताया कि युवती की ओर से आरोपित के विरुद्ध तहरीर दे दी गई है। इस मामले में केस दर्ज करने की तैयारी की जा रही है। साथ ही आरोपित के मोबाइल को जांच के लिए कब्जे में ले लिया है।

He estimated about 80% of the pine forests in the eastern region of Luhansk had been destroyed. The World Bank estimated in February that the damage wrought by the war on forests and other protected natural areas including marshes and wetlands exceeded $30 billion.

Ashok hits back at CM for terming RSS and BJP as anti-social justice
Taking exception to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah describing the RSS and the BJP as being opposed to social justice, Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly R. Ashok on Wednesday posed a set of queries to him, including whether he was aware that the party had made a person from the OBC community the Prime Minister. Referring to the Chief Minister referring to the Congress and himself as harbingers of social justice, he wondered why the Congress did not project a Dalit leader like Mallikarjun Kharge as the prime ministerial candidate and why they opposed the candidature of Dalit leader Droupadi Murmu in the presidential elections. Also, it was well-known that the possibility of a Dalit becoming Chief Minister was prevented in Karnataka, he alleged. He questioned the claims of commitment to social justice of the Congress by pointing out that it was not the Congress, but the BJP-backed government that implemented Mandal Commission’s recommendations.
