Ireland will have no problem bouncing back from loss to England – Andy FarrellBy Ed Elliot, PAAndy Farrell is confident Ireland will quickly dust themselves down for another shot at Guinness Six Nations glory after their dream of successive Grand Slams was extinguished in heartbreaking fashion by England. While back-to-back clean sweeps are now off the table, Ireland will still win the tournament if they defeat Scotland next weekend in Dublin. “There’s not a problem at all about getting the lads back on track for next week. “I thought they were super tonight, I thought they were physical, they were challenging on the gain line and played a nice brand of rugby as well. “To cut a long story short, I actually thought that England deserved to win.”

And if you can manage it, using public transport is the ultimate in responsible travelling. As delays are often inevitable when relying on public transport, Colette recommends sitting down with coffee and cake in the train/ bus station or nearby cafe. Being dependent on public transport has its drawbacks, of course, such as a reliance on lifts to get from destination towns out to the countryside or the sea. But on the plus side, public transport is kinder to the planet. If you have small children or a lot of luggage, using public transport can have added complications.

Penalty double helps Manchester United edge past Everton at Old TraffordBy Simon Peach, PA Chief Football WriterBruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford struck from the spot as sloppy Manchester United rode their luck in an unconvincing 2-0 win against relegation-threatened Everton. Sean Dyche’s men settled and continued to threaten, only to be punished by a Rashford penalty after Ben Godfrey fouled lively Argentina international Garnacho. United continued to offer Everton a way back into the match but they failed to capitalise – something you would not expect Liverpool to struggle with in next weekend’s FA Cup quarter-final. McNeil lasered across the face of goal as Everton continued to prove a nuisance, although that effort came shortly after Pickford stopped Fernandes scoring his second. Everton continued to knock at the door and United tried to expose the gaps they were leaving, but neither side had the quality to add to the scoreline.
