Jackson Jr. has described recent statements attributed to Foreign Minister Gbehzohngar Milton Findley concerning his employment and qualification to bear Liberian diplomatic passport as misleading, shortsighted and disrespectful to the Honorable the Supreme Court of the Republic of Liberia. Reacting over the weekend from London, Jackson said after three years of heading Liberia’s diplomatic efforts and international relations, it is shocking and troubling that the Liberian Foreign Minister would publicly claim that he (Jackson) works for the IMO. Liberia: NTA Boss, a German Citizen, Airlifted, Abandons Post Amid COVID-19

Sieh, [email protected]FrontPageAfrica has learned that Mr. Herbie Teconbla McCauley, Managing Director of the National Transit Authority, a German citizen, was among those airlifted on April 6. The EU in Liberia recorded that around 150 European citizens and residents were flown back from Liberia and The Gambia to Berlin on a chartered aircraft. The EU Delegation wishes to express its gratitude to the Liberian authorities for making this flight possible. Monrovia City Mayor Jefferson Koijee could not be reached for comment and Mr. McCauley did not return a text message seeking a response. The five-year contract signed with the Senegalese firm, Numherit SA is aimed at installing cameras on all NTA buses and the construction of a new bus terminal.

Interagency Payroll Clean-up Taskforce Organize Validation Workshop to Enforce National Biometric Enrolment
The Interagency National Payroll Clean up Taskforce comprised of the Civil Service Agency (CSA), Ministry of Finance and Development Planning (MFDP), Internal Audit Agency (IAA) and the National Identification Registry (NIR). MONROVIA – In an effort to the increased the removal of the ghost employees from the GoL Payroll through the use of the biometric enrollment for all government employees, the Interagency Payroll Clean-up Task Force through the Civil Servant Agency has started validation workshop at the Ministerial Complex in Congo Town. According to a release from the Taskforce, the workshop is organized to compile and validate the National Biometric Identification Cards of Government employees across the country. The objective of the validation is to ensure all Government employees are bio-metrically verified before receiving salary payment beginning July 2020. Joseph won Montserrado with 67,793 votes (54.8%) out of 125,374 total votes. Ahead of 2020 and 2023 polls, CDC along with its political leader George Weah is very desperate to get their political base (Montserrado) back.
