Al-Manqoush, Khan discuss strengthen cooperation between Libyan judiciary, ICC
The Foreign Minister, Najla Al-Manqoush, has discussed with the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Karim Khan, strengthen cooperation between the Libyan judiciary and the ICC, in issues related to human rights and the mass graves file in the city of Tarhuna, by providing international technical support to ensure achieving justice, accountability and stability. Both sides also discussed the possibility of holding an international conference in Libya under the supervision of the ICC as soon as possible. Al-Manqoush praised the role of the Libyan judiciary in performing its duties, stressing the consolidation of the concept of norms of justice in the transitional stages.

Japanese volunteer fighting for Ukraine dies in war
A Japanese volunteer fighting for Ukraine against Russia has died, Japan's Foreign Ministry said Friday. The ministry confirmed that the man in his 20s died on Wednesday after the Japanese Embassy in Kyiv verified social media posts saying he was dead. Libyan agencies demand an apology from ICC Prosecutor after meeting Haftar
Libyan organizations have expressed their objection to the meeting of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Karim Khan, with Khalifa Haftar in Benghazi, asking him to apologize as the latter is accused of war crimes. Smugglers arrested in desert after exchange of fire
The 444th Brigade of the Libyan army says it arrested three outlaws involved in smuggling activities after an encounter in the middle of the desert. In a statement Wednesday, the brigade said that a desert force under its command incircled the gang between the dunes in the middle of the desert and arrested them after an exchange of fire. It confirmed the recovery of two vehicles, some weapons, and ammunition, indicating that the operation comes as part of its efforts to curb the smuggling and human trafficking phenomenon.
