Upper Dublin Public Library contacted Mvix for a cloud-based digital signage solution that could stream community announcements, provide wayfinding information, and promote library events. Currently, the facility projects digital content on four large monitors, with plans to install smaller monitors running on Mvix Lite units. Initially, the team was worried that Mvix’s platform worked best for bigger companies with more complex digital requirements. However, Mvix’s digital signage system is scalable and suits businesses of all sizes and industries, including healthcare, education, governments, banks, and restaurants. Further, the glowing reviews by clients impressed UDPL and reassured its decision to implement Mvix’s solutions.

A group of civil society organizations and unions have called on the Presidential Council to declare a state of emergency in the country and go to elections. In a joint statement, the group demanded the suspension of the House of Representatives (HoR) and the High Council of State (HCS). The bloc held the HoR accountable for creating governments on the grounds of quotas in a notable absence of basic standards for state management, such as efficiency, integrity, and patriotism, as they put it. They demanded that the Supreme Court prepares a constitutional rule within two weeks to form a crisis government led by technocrats and to hold corrupt ministers accountable. The groups signing the statement included the Tripoli Authority, the General Union of Workers, the Executive Office of the Trade Union, the Tripoli Chamber of Commerce, the National Oil Corporation Syndicate, and other trade unions.

The political solution to the crisis in Libya has “failed” and that is why the Libyan people need to organize protests throughout the country since “an inevitable battle must be fought,” declared Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, the General Commander of the Libyan National Army (LNA), on Monday. Addressing crowds during the military parade in Sabha, Haftar affirmed that there is “no solution except for the people to rise up against the political absurdity that exacerbated their suffering” and “those who carry weapons outside the army and police”. The army leader reiterated that “the failure of all paths must be acknowledged”, and “there is no path to success except that made by the people.”“We announce our readiness to protect the people in their uprising to change the reality, and the people have no choice but to advance to the forefront of the scene and they will find us by their side,” he added.
