TOKYO (Reuters) - Jamaica's 1,500m runner Aisha Praught-Leer will "line up in Tokyo" despite tearing her meniscus on Sunday, an injury which her doctor said needs surgery. "I tore my meniscus (a complete, off the bone root tear) on Sunday at training — a freak, shocking accident," the 31-year-old wrote on her Instagram page https://www.instagram.com/p/CRrRIaopoCe/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link. An MRI confirmed the injury on Wednesday and her doctor recommended she undergo surgery as soon as possible. But that will not happen before she runs in Tokyo, Praught-Leer said. The 2018 Commonwealth Games 3,000m steeplechase gold medallist accepted she would be unable to compete to her best ability because of the injury.

In addition, we must note that the CTOS IPO offering was on the higher end of the valuation (45 times the price earnings ratio or PER). CTOS in itself is a household name as most of our financial data is readily available or compiled by CTOS. Through the IPO, Creador offered 720 million shares (36%) for sale via the listing exercise. Until then, retail investors have every right to be prudent and not blindly follow the herd no matter how fantastic the story may be. Even though personally I am positive on CTOS, I believe retail investors must always do more homework to make an informed decision.

The bicycle lanes were supposed to undergo a six-month trial period beginning mid-January this year. A welcome initiativeIn November last year, Federal Territories Minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa announced the plan to convert underused motorcycle lanes in Putrajaya into bicycle lanes in a bid to make it a cycling-friendly city. Putrajaya Cycling Association secretary Mohd Saiful Abdul Jalil, who is also the Malaysian National Cycling Federation vice-president, said it was high time bicycle lanes and cycling facilities were provided in the administrative capital, as its well-paved roads and central location were attracting many cyclists, including professional racers. “At the same time, much importance must be given to educating cyclists about cycling ethics and motorists about road-sharing,” he added. Mohd Saiful said there would be two types of bicycle lanes – under-used motorcycle lanes converted into bicycle lanes, and shared lanes with other road users.
