More than 40,000 people – including 30,000 visitors – attended the 30th edition of Arabian Travel Market (ATM), which ended last week in Dubai, UAE. This not only represents a year-on-year increase of 29% in attendees compared to 2022, it also represents a 5% increase over 2019, establishing a new record for the show, demonstrating that the Middle East’s travel and tourism sector is booming. In line with ATM 2023’s theme, ‘Working Towards Net Zero’, more than 2,100 exhibitors and representatives from over 150 countries gathered at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) to explore how the industry can ensure sustainable travel for future generations. McLoughlin began his career at Dubai Duty Free in 1983 and has since helped to transform the organisation into a $2 billion company. Moderated by Eleni Giokos, Anchor and Correspondent CNN, the show’s opening session delved into a climate change debate as tourism heads took to the Global Stage.

France’s border police this week busted an illegal immigration ring leasing out real French passports to migrants from sub-Saharan Africa so they could enter the country, a police source has said. “He told us he had paid 7,000 euros ($7,600) to fly from Bamako to Paris with an authentic French ID document,” the source said. Police uncovered the existence of a network in the Paris region that recruited French nationals with an immigration background to “lend” out their identity papers in exchange for several hundred euros. They then either sent their passports to somewhere in Africa by post or asked for a new passport from the French authorities with the photograph of someone else. They are now hoping to identify those who shared their passports.

As we age, it’s a common sight to see our once vibrant and colourful hair gradually turn grey. These cells produce melanin, which is then transferred to the hair shaft as it grows. Another theory is that grey hair is caused by a buildup of hydrogen peroxide in the hair follicle. And let’s not forget about the perks of having grey hair. Sure, some people may see grey hair as a sign of old age, but we know better.

This was disclosed by the Leader of Dr Alex Otti’s representatives in the Abia Government’s Handover Committee, Rev. “It is expected that the outgoing administration ought to avail the governor-elect with the handover documents early enough to enable him to study the content before May 29,” Anokwuru said. “If the government insists that the handover documents would only be made available on May 29, it means the governor-elect has to take another period of time to study them.
