In 1986 I pitched an expedition to Guinness World Records, from my hometown of Minnesota to Argentina. The final expedition I did for Guinness World Records, from Tunisia to South Africa, included a back-breaking stretch across the Congo. It became the first of what we’d go on to call the Blue Zones. Keswick MRT began to search for the missing walker and as the team efforts were beginning to 'escalate' the missing teenager was located. The well prepared young men stopped for a rest at Low White Stones (High Raise) but one of them carried on. "The team searched the main paths from Stonethwaite to Stake Pass via Black Moss Pot & Low White Stones via Greenup Gill. "As the scale of the search was starting to escalate the missing young man was located back at Low White Stones having descended to Black Moss Pot before climbing back up again. The rescue operation involved 14 Keswick MRT members and lasted just over four hours.
