Los Angeles, Aug 14 (IANS) Hollywood star Jason Momoa revealed that he almost drowned while out surfing in Hawaii back in 2007. "The star said he was trained pretty well and so he was fine. There's all this water that pulls out of a channel there, (and) you just get hit with these waves. I had my paddle and I was waving it and they couldn't see me, and the waves were so big. I couldn't stop for my kids, I couldn't stop for my ex, I couldn't stop smoking.

Instead, a more “realistic mission” has been proposed, which includes guarding the airspace over western regions of Ukraine, training Ukrainian military personnel, and demining the Black Sea. Sources note that some European countries considered the deployment of a large contingent too risky and were unwilling to send a sufficient number of troops. Additionally, coalition countries plan to demine the Black Sea and ensure the safe passage of ships to and from Ukrainian ports. Recall that the “Coalition of the Determined” was announced by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in March of this year. In April, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that French and British troops would be the first to arrive in Ukraine.

The White House denies discussing a model for Ukraine that mirrors the West BankRussia and the United States have discussed a model for ending the war in Ukraine that mirrors Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, The Times has reported. President Zelensky has refused to countenance handing over land but the occupation model may be a mechanism to allow for a truce after three and a half years of war. West Bank style occupation Under the model, Ukraine’s borders would not change, just as the borders of the West Bank have gone unchanged for 58 years, only under Israeli control. "It’ll just be like Israel occupies the West Bank," the source said before Trump’s summit with President Putin in Alaska on Friday. But it’ll still be Ukraine, because … Ukraine will never give up its sovereignty.

The British military has altered the format and objectives of the peacekeeping mission that will commence in Ukraine after the active phase of the war with Russia concludes, according to The Times. The British Army command has abandoned the idea of creating a 30,000-strong contingent to protect Ukraine's ports and cities. Instead, the military is proposing a more realistic mission that includes securing the airspace over western Ukraine, supporting the training of Ukrainian military personnel, and demining the Black Sea. There are also plans to carry out air patrol missions using Typhoon or F-35 aircraft to protect Ukraine's airspace and deter Russian attacks. Following a meeting of Coalition representatives in April, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that French and British troops would be the first to arrive in Ukraine.

Since relegation from the Premier League I don't think any Ipswich fan anticipated this summer and start of the new season going as it has. (I don't think any Ipswich fan expected a return to the Championship to be easy). I am scared of Ipswich not being good and being mid table obscurity or worse. Clarke wants to start those cutting into the right runs from almost exactly where Davis wants to be crossing the ball. I still think this can be an excellent season for Town the opportunity needs to be seized right now.
