Minister of Information, please give out the information people need to stay safe, not words that tend to create tension in the country.

Monrovia – In a move to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus in Liberia a nonprofit organization, Liberia Initiative for Empowerment (LIFE), has begun the production of a locally made nose mask that is reusable. The mask which is produced in Liberia would be distributed to hundreds of Liberians and non-Liberians who are residing in Liberia to be used to prevent the virus. She told FrontPageAfrica that she is doing a mass production because the imported masks are limited on the Liberian market. Who will be happy to get a mask that is reusable, that can be clean, and reuse over and over again? Let’s be creative and stop saying things that will endanger the lives of our family, friends, and Country,” Humpheretta Reid said.

The Editor,The Coronavirus kukujumuku has just started in Liberia and it is going to get really ugly and deadly like Ebola if we don’t get our acts together. By not subjecting people arriving at RI Airport to the mandatory 14-day quarantine period is the biggest mistake by the government. Ellen’s older sister Jenny Bernard was National Healthcare Coordinator and also was Board Chairman for Just For Killing (JFK) Hospital. What sense does it make to build a brand-new hospital, #14 Military in Schufflin when the money could have gone to upgrading and equipping JFK Hospital? I knew the government wasn’t ready to deal with this killer Coronavirus by its flawed policy at RI Airport that allowed people in from Convid-19-prone countries to to self-quarantine.
