PETALING JAYA: Fines will not be imposed on Chinese cemetery management but on individuals who violate Covid-19 standard operating procedure during the Qing Ming festival, says the National Unity Ministry. The ministry said it had taken note of the concerns of Chinese cemetery management about potential compounds. It was reported that several cemeteries in Kerian, Perak, have decided not to open for Qing Ming due to concerns about being fined for violating Covid-19 SOP. Prayer times in MCO, conditional MCO and recovery MCO areas should be between 5am and 6pm, and the duration is limited to 60 minutes, with sanitisation work lasting 30 minutes in between. The ministry urged the Chinese cemetery management nationwide to operate in accordance with the established SOP so that the Chinese community would be able perform the Qing Ming ceremony this year.

Neydi does not have her own device and must use her mother's cellphone to do her schoolwork. Stekelenburg was the goalkeeper when the Dutch reached the 2010 World Cup final in Johannesburg. The return of Stekelenburg, who won the last of his 58 caps in November 2016, has an element of good fortune about it. (Reuters) - American Wesley Bryan was in no mood to let mud or water prevent him from completing the sixth hole at the Honda Classic on Friday, as he ditched his shoes and trousers to play himself out of a sticky situation in the second round. A wayward tee shot at the sixth, his 15th hole of the day, landed Bryan in a spot of bother with the ball ending up on the mud just by the water. This guy is up to his calves, he's got an interesting way he's hiked up the shirt," one commentator said. I don't know how much longer we can hang on to this shot." His nightmare continued as he bogeyed the next two holes before a final-hole birdie to sign off with an eight-over 78.

First, I am not impressed by the criticisms that vaccine passports will create an unfair two-tier society. If a vaccine passport system can help clean up this mess and accelerate recovery, it is likely to increase fairness on average. The biggest advantage of vaccine passports is that they would encourage people to get the vaccine. Soon enough, of course, it may be easier for most adults to get a vaccine than to forge a vaccine passport. A vaccine passport system could end up being fetters not only for foreigners and anti-vaxxers but also for vaccinated Americans.

BRUSSELS (Reuters) - Belgium followed France on Friday by tightening measures to control the spread of the coronavirus to avoid a third wave of COVID-19 infections and preserve plans to open up the economy in May. After five months of lockdown restrictions, Belgium has plans to reopen restaurants, bars, gyms and cinemas on May 1. The tightening of measures stopped short of the lockdowns France announced on Thursday for Paris and northern regions. Health officials earlier warned that, after a long "plateau phase", Belgium was on the verge of a third wave of infections. More than 22,000 people have died from COVID-19 in Belgium, among the world's highest per capita fatality rate.

ZAGREB (March 19): Stunned Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho accused his players of not respecting their jobs after his side crashed out of the Europa League following a 3-2 aggregate defeat by Dinamo Zagreb on Thursday. While Orsic's hat-trick, completed early in extra time, was world class, Tottenham's performance was feeble in the extreme and they capitulated after halftime. Tottenham great Glenn Hoddle, a pundit for BT Sport, described the display as "diabolical", adding: "They lost the plot but they also lost their heart." Mourinho was hired to replace Mauricio Pochettino because of his record of claiming trophies. But after Thursday's surrender, the winning mentality the club's owners hopes he would instil looks as far away as ever.
