Last Tuesday, RealWear launched a cloud-based solution to assist frontline industrial workforces in managing fleets of augmented reality (AR) wearables. RealWear Cloud is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) that presents a dashboard with tools to track and manage devices. RealWear debuted Microsoft Endpoint Manager as part of its line-up of AR wearables last year, alongside Teams support. The firm’s previous cloud management solution will merge with RealWear Cloud, giving existing customers automatic access to RealWear Cloud Basic. RealWear Cloud marks the firm’s transition from a “device-centric company” into a digital solutions provider by launching its first SaaS product.
