HARRISBURG, Pa. -- A legal challenge filed Thursday seeks to have third-party presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. kept off Pennsylvania's fall ballot, an effort with ramifications for the hotly contested swing-state battle between Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Kamala Harris. The petition argues the nominating papers filed by Kennedy and his running mate “demonstrate, at best, a fundamental disregard” of state law and the process by which signatures are gathered. Kennedy campaign lawyer Larry Otter said he was confident his client will end up on the Pennsylvania ballot. He is a member of a renowned Democratic family and has drawn support from conservatives who agree with his positions against vaccination. Pennsylvania's 19 electoral votes and closely divided electorate put it at the center of the Nov. 5 presidential contest, now three months away.

While MyKayla Skinner remains embroiled in a social media feud over her previous comments about the US gymnastics team, her husband is showing his support. To be totally clear, I take 100% responsibility for poorly articulating the point I was trying to make, and the last thing I wanted was to cause harm or offend our US Olympic team,” Skinner said in the video. (Laurence Griffiths/Getty Images)Skinner’s husband, Jonas Harmer, then came to his wife’s defense via the video’s comments section. “Proud of you for apologizing when you did, staying quiet when you did, and now standing up for yourself,” Harmer wrote. Biles added to her storied career at the Paris Olympics, winning three golds and one silver medal.

I made the mistake commented on something a lib friend posted on FB regarding millions of voter registrations being "cancelled" in TX when it really was about how if you had moved and not updated contact info your registration was "suspended" pending updated contact info. Anyway, that escalated into me being called a "nazi magat" by her friends and how Trump was running scared and too chicken to debate Harris. They said Harris backed out of the Fox debate because Trump "changed the rules" so he would dominate her, but that she would debate on ABC and he chickened out of that. As soon as I mentioned that Trump had already agreed to and debated Biden on CNN, by their rules, they went silent.

Why is 2024 now so very different from Donald Trump’s earlier campaigns? To answer that question is to understand why Trump is so desperate to find new angles for attacks on Vice President Harris, even if some of them seem wild, outrageous and counterproductive. Trump’s success in 2016, and his ability to retain control over the Republican Party since, have rested on his mastery of oppositional politics and his skill at using abnormal behavior to prove to disaffected voters that he’s no mainstream politician.
