A. Teage JallohA. Teage Jalloh, Esq., [email protected], Contributing WriterSome constitutional provisions are ambiguous and subject to multiple interpretations. Second, the language is clear that the Republic recognizes dual citizenship for “such person” up to the age of maturity. When a constitutional provision is clear — as we conclude Article 28 is — the provision’s letter cannot be disregarded under the pretext of pursuing its “spirit”. We submit that there are Liberians who by birth hold the citizenship of the U.S. and other countries. If the answer is “no”, have we been in search of a solution to a “problem” that does not exist?

It further validates our consistent argument that President Weah swims in idea and leadership insolvency – We still doubt that this bankruptcy is even repairable. How can President Weah tell the public that his administration never received 16 billion when said funds was taken from the Freeport of Monrovia on March 2, 2018? Mr. President, it is now time that you transition from comicality to puffer a matured statesmanship. “Morlu is the chairman of CDC; I mean everyone can get angry and talk, but those that sit when people are expressing their frustration to record them and play them, these are rocketeers,” he said Monday. Insinuating that Morlu’s expression is pardonable because they were out of frustration, President Weah was more concerned about people in the inner cycle secretly recording conversations and using such to blackmail people. The recording was first heard publicly when Henry Costa, host of the famous Costa Show and a stern critic of the Weah-led administration played it on his talk show on Monday morning. Those people are rocketeers, the only way they can survive is to blackmail people, so I don’t want to dignify that,” President Weah noted. “These are things anyone would say when angry, but it does not necessarily mean it is the truth.
