We struggled so much to find the right person at the right time that was available. So, it’s not that this person doesn’t exist, but we can’t get connected to the right person in a way that makes sense. They might work for a friend or family member, but might not be the right person for your particular household context. This also is building up a sense of confidence, which is something that from my own personal experience and also in speaking to other women entrepreneurs, we need to work on. Reach out to ecosystems that are set up to support, not just women, but also women entrepreneurs.

Ahead of the National Convention of the All Progressives Congress scheduled for February 26, 2022, a former Borno State Governor, Ali Modu Sheriff, has said he is running for the office of the party chairman and not the presidency. Speaking on Friday during an interactive session with journalists, the former governor said, “Many insinuations are going around; Ali Sheriff is not looking to be (APC) chairman, he is looking to be presidential candidate. Please, I want to put it on record today; I am not looking to be president; I am looking for the National Chairman’s (position) to lead the party to victory. “I want to lead a campaign like what we did in 2014 to make sure that our father and leader (Buhari) hands over power to another APC man as a President. He also faulted reports that he had been dropped from the race, saying it was clear persons going around with such reports were afraid of his candidacy.

After driving 30 kilometres (20 miles), stopping at four illegal tolls manned by Congolese army soldiers, inner tubes stretched between stakes mark the entrance to the FRPI domain. The FRPI signed a demobilization agreement with the Congolese state in February 2020, but seven months later the process fell apart after provocation blamed on both sides. At the southern end of Walendu Bindi chiefdom, an FRPI position dominates a deforested plain. State of siegeIn November and December, the Ugandan army shelled what it described as ADF strongholds around Tchabi. “Until the beginning of December, there were only six Congolese soldiers for the entire chiefdom of Tchabi,” said Augustin, a member of the Hutu community.

I want to know how soon after a Covid infection can I get a vaccine injection or booster dose. Hammed (by SMS)The current recommendation is to wait for the Covid symptoms to resolve before going for vaccination or booster dose. However, people who test positive but never show symptoms can get vaccinated as soon as they have completed their isolation period. This is because, excluding hospitalized patients, COVID-19 infections take about 2 weeks to recover from. Additionally, because most people mount a good immune response to the vaccine, which might make them feel sick, getting the vaccine when you’re actively infected can worsen symptoms and place more stress on your body.

The source noted that with patronage for illegal crude oil almost at zero level at the moment, oil thieves resorted to the establishment of artisanal refineries (Kpofire) to remain afloat. Kpofire, in local Niger Delta parlance, is the process of hitting crude at makeshift locations called bunkering sites or dumpsites by illegal oil operatives or oil thieves to extract refined petroleum products. The Nigerian Navy has been very effective in combating trade in illegal crude oil lately. That is why we now have illegal refineries scattered all over the Niger Delta region; but they appear to be more in Rivers State,” the source explained. Findings also showed that farmlands were not spared, as many of them polluted by crude oil were no longer fertile.

The youths are interested in police job, but they don’t want to go in as constables. Lagos explains low applicationMeanwhile, the Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, explained that the low applications from Lagos was not surprising, saying that Lagosians were usually indifferent about such job applications.

A coalition of civil society groups, under the aegis of The People’s Alternative Movement, on Friday in Benin, Edo State capital, protested against the Federal Government’s planned hike of petroleum products. The group earlier warned that it would mobilise the masses to protest against what it termed continuous impoverishment of Nigerians by the government using fuel subsidy removal and increment of electricity tariff as tools. “To end the problem in the petroleum industry, Nigerian oil should be refined in Nigeria. The Petroleum Industry Act is anchored on the privatisation of the industry and the mess we found ourselves in this country today is on account of the greed by a few. Benedict Onwugbenu, said the President was doing what he led a protest against some years ago.

It might not even be that they are decent, they are simply being respectful because they know the people have the franchise. In a populist declaration, he argued that subsidy could not be transferred from governments to become the responsibility of citizens. Ending fuel subsidy is therefore a core policy of the Buhari administration today and it is enshrined in law. Many of the comments I saw from Nigerians expressed doubt about whether it was indeed rice in the bags displayed.
