Indra is the toll system integrator of the I-485 Express Lane Roadside Toll Collection System (RTCS) project by the North Carolina Turnpike Authority (NCTA), which aims to improve travel time reliability and traffic flow in the Charlotte area. It is part of a strategic initiative by North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDoT) and NCTA to develop an interconnected express lane network within critical transportation corridors. Indra is employing technologies including 3D Lidar and artificial intelligence to make the system work; Intrada Synergy Server uses advanced image-to-data conversion technologies and AI, and can process a diverse range of US licence plate styles. Ivory Coast-based cloud communication startup LAfricaMobile has raised a US$4.6 million Series A round of funding to accelerate its expansion across French-speaking Africa. Founded in 2014, LAfricaMobile allows clients to carry out large-scale communication campaigns using mobile technologies like SMS, USSD, voice, WhatsApp, airtime and text-to-speech. With nearly 100 million transactions, LAM has connected more than 15 countries and 60 operators, and it is now planning on expanding its operations after closing its US$4.6 million Series A round. LAfricaMobile will use the funding to consolidate its financial position and accelerate its expansion in French-speaking Africa. BircherJune 6, 1944U.S. On April 22, 1942, the Chillicothe Gazette reported that Frank and dozens of other Ross County men had been accepted for military service. Upon his entry into the Army, Frank received serial number 35402137 and was sent to Camp Blanding, Florida, for engineer training.

South African early-stage VC firm 4Di Capital is planning to raise its third venture fund in “due course” to make seed to Series A investments in startups across the continent. 4Di Capital is an early-stage technology venture capital fund manager based in Cape Town, South Africa, which specialises in the Southern and Eastern Africa region. 4Di raised its first angel fund in 2011, before launching its first venture fund in 2016. Its second venture fund, launched in 2019, was anchored by the SA SME Fund. “Then we’ll shortly be looking at the possibility of perhaps raising our next venture fund in due course,” he said.

Morocco and Palestine signed, Wednesday in Rabat, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen industrial cooperation between the two countries. The agreement aims to strengthen collaboration and mutual recognition of compliance certificates, quality marks and halal labels between Morocco and Palestine. Mezzour also highlighted the potential of this agreement to explore new markets and investment opportunities, while consolidating the historical and fraternal ties between Morocco and Palestine. For his part, Abusnina said his visit to Rabat was meant to stimulate exchanges and technical, commercial, and industrial cooperation with the Kingdom, as well as to promote an exchange of expertise. The Palestinian official, who praised the significant progress made by Morocco in the industrial field, noted that this MoU would enable his country to benefit from Moroccan expertise.
